Information we process

MoveLotz may process authorized account and dealership information, vehicle and inventory information, Marketplace workflow records, and operational diagnostics needed to provide and secure the service.

How information is used

Information is used to provide inventory and listing workflows, synchronize authorized dealership activity, manage accounts and onboarding, deliver updates, troubleshoot reliability, protect accounts, and provide support. MoveLotz does not sell user data or use it for unrelated advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.

Browser Bridge

The MoveLotz Browser Bridge connects the desktop application with supported dealership inventory websites and Facebook Marketplace for authorized workflows. It may read and interact with website content needed for those workflows. It is not intended to monitor general browsing activity or customer communications. Executable Browser Bridge code is packaged with the extension rather than downloaded as remote JavaScript.

Local and cloud communication

The Browser Bridge may communicate with the desktop application through a local connection such as 127.0.0.1. Authorized dealership operational records may synchronize with hosted MoveLotz services so authorized members of the same dealership can use shared workflow features.

Sharing, retention, and security

MoveLotz may use infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service and may disclose information when directed by an authorized dealership, required by law, or necessary to protect the service. Records are retained as reasonably necessary for operations, security, support, disputes, and legal requirements. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services

MoveLotz workflows may interact with third-party dealership websites and Facebook Marketplace, which operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
